RADIO KEJETIA CALLS FOR WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP POSITIONS

The Guinea Ambassador to Ghana, Her Excellency Olga Syradin

The founder of the Radio Kejetia ,Mr. Yahaya Alhassan has appealed to African leaders to consider appointing women for important positions . He made this call during a meeting with the Guinea ambassador to Ghana, madam Olga Syradin at the Guinea embassy in Accra. Mr. Alhassan praised the Guinean authority for appointing a woman particularly, for such an important but historic relations between Ghana and Guinea. The unity can be traced through the friendship of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and Dr. Sekou Toure .Noting that, ‘’It was the tireless work of the two African leaders that led to the total liberation of African countries from colonialism’’. According to him, statistics has shown how women have performed better, adding that ‘’Women's equality and empowerment is the 5th agenda for the Sustainable Development Goals’ In expressing his appreciation to president Alpha Konde , Mr. Yahaya Alhassan said ‘’ the appointment of an experienced personality in the stature of madam Olga Syradin ,who was the Guinean ambassador to Cote di voire reiterates the importance of the Ghana-Guinea relations to the Guinean president.
