Women have been educated
on the precautionary measures in the use of gas cylinders at home.
The advocacy which was
undertaken by the Radio Kejetia and Humanity
Magazine called on media persons to embark on
educational campaign for incident-free in gas in gas usage in the
country.

Officer of the Humanity Magazine Mr. Nsoroma Osei Bonsu speaking on Atinka
radio appealed to journalists
passionately, especially radio presenters to divert their works
towards advocacy for gas safety instead of politics.
He said “Let’s consider the heat
and stress in the kitchen, an environment
which would be difficult for most men, that’s why am urging you to
propagate such awareness to save our precious women.”
He called on gas filling station operators
to be disciplined and comply with the safety rules to avoid gas accident
including workshops for their clients.
In a related development ,the chief executive officer
of the radio Kejetia Mr. Yahaya Alhassan
assured the
public that, his
organisation’s Kejetia Kayayei View Center ,would have a 75’ Led Flat Screen
which would promote women values particularly women and safety gas measures .
